Datin Rubab Fatima
Datin Rubab Fatima is an art collector and appreciator. With a keen eye for artistic things, Datin Rubab has been very actively engaged in bringing the works of artists of South East Asia to one central point, Malaysia, her country of residence and the country known as ‘Truly Asia’. She has to her credit, two very successful art exhibitions in 2013 and 2015. It was an effort to appreciate the works of many talented painters, calligraphers and photographers from the region.
Her love for creativity inspires her to support art in every form and engage in any activity that promotes art and culture.
Founder/ Managing Director
Ahsan Qureshi is the founder of Travel Photographer Society. Hailing from Pakistan, Ahsan is currently settled in Malaysia since 2009. He is a photographer and also the founder of Travel Photographer Asia, which he started in 2014.
Along with these international festivals, Ahsan works as a commercial photographer and enjoys travel photography for leisure. His first solo exhibition in Malaysia was in year 2011, titled ‘Narrative images’. In 2013, he partnered with a Danish painter and exhibited his work in Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur called ‘Depth and Deception’. In 2014, he collaborated with a British painter to produce mix media art pieces that blended Ahsan’s photography with artistic strokes of the painter’s brush. He titled it ‘Blending Thoughts’. It was widely appreciated by a big global audience. Ahsan also conducts photography workshops for small groups, which is something he enjoyed immensely while teaching in universities and art schools in Pakistan. His love for travel photography inspired these social platforms where travel photographers can connect and grow together.
Ahsan is an alma mater of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture and an advanced diploma holder in film production from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore.
Drew Hopper is a travel, documentary and editorial photographer, when he isn’t travelling he calls Australia home. Captivated by the diversity of cultures, people and environment, Drew ventures far and wide to capture pictures that define his experiences with the vision that they will impact and inspire an audience in a way individual to each viewer.
Drew’s curiosity for different ways of living have influenced the desire to travel to new and unfamiliar territories. With a talented eye Drew captures stunning images and works with humility, respect and a light footprint. Drew is a regular contributor to Australian Geographic, covering assignments throughout Australia. He also regularly contributes to Australian Photography magazine writing photo articles and judges monthly contests, and has work featured in numerous travel, photography and lifestyle magazines worldwide.
Drew has won many photography awards including the the 2015 ANZANG (Nature Photographer of the Year) winning the botanical category. In 2016, Drew was also shortlisted again in ANZANG with his image ‘Mist Shower’. He was also shortlisted in the 2015 Travel Photographer Asia contest and was part of the jury for the 2016 contest, as well as curating the exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

May Kuen Choo is the PR and Marketing Manager of Travel Photographer Society. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Her experience living abroad has taught her beauty and diversity found in people with various background and culture which allowed her to develop a love for travel and photography, which eventually drew her to be part of the TPS team.
